Our fresh jelly coconuts — also known as coconut jellies — are whole young coconuts with soft, spoonable flesh and refreshing coconut water inside. Jelly coconut is quite different in character from the firmer-fleshed mature dried coconut. The Caribbean tradition: chop or pierce the top, drink the coconut water straight from the shell, then scoop out the soft white jelly flesh with a spoon. Particularly refreshing on a hot day. Each jelly coconut serves one person generously.
