Salt fish has been the cornerstone of Caribbean cooking for centuries — originally a way to preserve fish for long ship voyages, now the heart of the iconic ackee and saltfish breakfast and a dozen other classic dishes. Our salted fish and meat range covers the cuts that home cooks ask for by name: salted cod cutlets, skinless and boneless saltfish, jumbo saltfish, salt mackerel and salt pork.

Leading brands are Cawoods and Sunshine, both long-trusted names with regular sizes from 200g cutlets through to skinless fillets and larger party-sized blocks. Island Sun rounds out the selection.

To complete the Jamaican breakfast, pair salt fish with our tinned ackee and callaloo and a fresh loaf from our bread, bun and cakes range. Season with the right blend from our seasonings and spices selection, or finish with a marinade from our Caribbean sauces range.
